Fate Stay Night is a great series of games, anime and whatever else they can sell to fans. =) But seriously, it has great characterization, story and action. I am a fan of it and so it was a pleasure to discover this mod for Oblivion with the armors and weapons of Saber, one of the main characters and biggest star of the series, including the PSP game’s exclusive Saber Lily armor. Very good work on the modelling and textures.

I’ve heard about other Fate Stay Night mods made for Oblivion and saw some pics of them but these aren’t easily found on the net, or available at all. So it is great to have this great work so easily at hand.

Two mods in one post but they go well together. The Dreadweave armor is a great looking piece that gives a fierce aura to anyone wearing it. The scimitars can be used in their blue flames form or in their glowing red one and both are masterfully done as well. Besides they can be used on the back or on the side of your character. No need to say much as the images and sheer quality of this work speak by themselves.

Inspired by the legendary weapon of the Warcraft III and World of Warcraft games, this mod is simple awesome visually. A nice fix for any Warcraft 3 or WoW addict while playing Oblivion. =) For now just the sword, the armor will be the star of the next post.

Clothes and Sword

Now this is what you can call a complete package. There are four color options of Nariko’s (the protagonist of Heavenly Sword for the PS3) clothes, both for the transparent and the chaste (as the author calls the more behaved robe) versions. By the way, these are separate versions, you’ll have to choose one.

There are also two versions of the sword (long and short) and even Nariko’s signature hair is included in the file as a wig.

The male version of the wearable items was made by AlienSlof and they look great as is usual for her work. The readme is a full color pdf file with pictures. As you can see I was impressed by the quality of this mod. A great addition to Oblivions library.
